«Dones alterades 4» is the humour comic by Maitena, published by Rosa dels Vents in hardback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Maitena approaches the life of contemporary women with irony and tenderness: family, work, love, sex, children, parents and grandparents, seen through a female gaze. Her characters grapple with the pressure to be desirable, the effort to appear strong and the fragility that surfaces in daily routine, with humour as a lesson in survival.
Fourth volume in the «Dones alterades» series. Maitena was born in Buenos Aires in 1962 and created the strip «Mujeres alteradas».
For comic readers looking for an ironic, relatable take on the contradictions of women's everyday lives.
