Writer, screenwriter and filmmaker from Barcelona, author of The Yellow World and creator of the series Polseres vermelles, drawing on his own experience as a cancer survivor.
He had cancer as a teenager and lost a leg, a lung and a liver lobe.
He studied industrial engineering before turning to film and literature.
He co-wrote the screenplay of Planta 4ª (2003), based on his own hospital experience.
The TV series Polseres vermelles (TV3, 2011) was a phenomenon and was remade in Italy, the United States and Germany.
He calls himself 'half yellow, half person', a reference to the yellow world he describes in his books.
