«Tor: tretze cases i tres morts» is the non-fiction chronicle by Carles Porta, published by Edicions La Campana in paperback (420 pages, in Catalan).
The conflict of Tor pitted thirteen neighbours, owners of a mountain in the Pyrenees, near Andorra, against one another. Smuggling, pride and court rulings fuelled the tension until three deaths occurred. Carles Porta's investigation, born from a report for TV3, portrays characters marked by hatred and secrets.
It is number 52 in the Tocs collection and was first published on 7 November 2005.
Aimed at readers of true crime and narrative journalism, with a real story of rural tension and a mystery that remains open.
