«Dones alterades 1» is the humour comic by Maitena, published by Rosa dels Vents in hardback (80 pages).
Cartoons by Maitena about the daily life of contemporary women: family, work, friendships, love, sex, children, parents and grandparents. Her protagonists appear stressed or «altered» by the demands of being beautiful and strong and of coping with everything; an ironic and tender portrait of female contradictions.
First volume of Maitena's comic series of the same name; original publication 2003.
A work of graphic humour for those who enjoy slice-of-life cartoons about daily life and women's contradictions.
Maitena Burundarena, better known as Maitena, is an Argentine cartoonist.
