«El caballero de Sajonia» is the historical novel by Juan Benet, published by Planeta in hardback (192 pages, in Spanish).
The novel takes Martin Luther at a decisive moment for Europe and makes him the centre of a narrative reflection on faith, power and the individual against institutions. Benet, in an exception within his work, cultivates the historical genre in a short, mature story of light appearance.
Third edition published by Planeta in Barcelona, within the collection Spanish and Latin American Authors.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction and historical fiction seeking a literary approach to Luther.
