«Historias e invenciones de Félix Muriel» is a collection of short stories by Rafael Dieste published by Autor-Editor in paperback (183 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together stories by Rafael Dieste in which imagination and creativity make their way through unusual characters and situations. The stories of Félix Muriel move between fantasy, lyricism and reflection, with prose characteristic of twentieth-century Spanish narrative.
Originally published in 1986, this title belongs to the «Libro de a bordo» collection; ISBN 84-505-4140-9.
Rafael Dieste was a Galician poet, philosopher, short-story writer, and dramatist writing mostly in Galician language, but also in Spanish language. He began to write with the encouragement of another Galician poet, Manuel Antonio, wrote for the theatre and wrote widely on aesthics. His stories have been compared to the other-world approach of the graphic art of M. C. Escher.
