«Els pecats de la xona» is the humour essay by Marta Pontnou and Laura Fa, published by Rosa dels Vents in paperback (184 pages, in Catalan).
It proposes expiating with humour and joy the everyday sins of Catalan women: children, lovers, partners, work, tax returns and WhatsApp groups, compared to a mountain higher than Montserrat. It advocates a life without fixed schedules and with freedom to «papallonejar», far from the chair and the computer.
The full subtitle is «i tot allò que la Moreneta ens perdona» and the title is part of the Divulgació collection, in its first edition published on 2 March 2023.
Aimed at Catalan women readers with a sense of humour who seek to recognise themselves in everyday life situations.
