«El lindo Don Diego» is a comedy by Agustín Moreto published by Club Internacional del Libro in hardback (189 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together two comedies from the Spanish classical theatre by Agustín Moreto. «El lindo Don Diego» humorously portrays the social customs of its time through characters and comic entanglements; «El desdén con el desdén» completes the sample of the genre. Unlike the multifaceted Lope de Vega, Moreto was, above all, a man of the theatre.
Volume 130 of the collection «Grandes genios de la literatura universal», which brings together «El lindo Don Diego» and «El desdén con el desdén» in a single volume.
For readers of Spanish classical theatre and of collections of great works of world literature.
Agustín Moreto y Cavana, was a Spanish Catholic priest and dramatist.
