«Tres soldados» is the war novel by John Dos Passos, published by Bruguera in 1981 in paperback (512 pages, in Spanish).
Set during the First World War, it follows three American soldiers from their enlistment to the front. Dos Passos portrays the dehumanisation, fear and routine of combat, as well as the disillusionment of those who survive, in an anti-war statement on the human condition.
The novel was originally published in 1921 as «Three Soldiers» and this Spanish edition uses the translation by Mary Rowe; it belongs to the Libro Amigo collection (no. 857).
A work recommended for readers of war fiction and twentieth-century American classics, especially those interested in the First World War.

John Roderigo Dos Passos was an American novelist, most notable for his U.S.A. trilogy. He was a descendant of the Lee family of Virginia.
