«Rubén Darío Para Niños» is the children's poetry anthology by Rubén Darío, published by Ediciones de La Torre in paperback (124 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together a selection of Rubén Darío's poems designed to bring his poetry closer to younger readers. It includes some of his most representative texts, notable for their colour, rhythm and a sensibility open to the universal, and serves as a first approach to Hispanic Modernism and the work of one of its great authors.
The edition was prepared by José Manuel Calderón and illustrated by Rafael Contento. It is the second edition, belonging to the Alba y Mayo collection, and won the Banco del Libro de Venezuela Prize in 1990.
Recommended for young readers aged 9 to 12 who are beginning with poetry and as classroom material for presenting Hispanic Modernism.

Félix Rubén García Sarmiento, known as Rubén Darío, was a Nicaraguan poet who initiated the Spanish-language literary movement known as modernismo (modernism) that flourished at the end of the 19th century. Darío had a great and lasting influence on 20th-century Spanish-language literature and journalism.
