«Mi niño no me come» is the parenting essay by Carlos González, published by Booket in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
Paediatrician Carlos González addresses childhood lack of appetite from a practical, undramatised viewpoint: he explains why many children eat less than their parents expect and offers guidelines for handling mealtimes without bribes, punishments or obsessions. The book starts from recognisable everyday scenes, such as the child who shuts his mouth and turns his head, to invite families to trust the child's appetite and to distinguish between a real problem and an unfounded fear.
This title belongs to the Prácticos siglo XXI collection, where it is number 1. The edition described is updated and expanded, and includes the subtitle «Consejos para prevenir y resolver el problema».
Aimed at mothers and fathers worried about their children's eating, as well as caregivers seeking a calm approach based on paediatric experience.
