«La vida frenética de Kate» is the novel by Allison Pearson, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (406 pages, in Spanish).
Kate Reddy, an investment manager in London, tries to balance her career with family life: being a mother of two, a wife, and fulfilling countless obligations from school runs to Christmas dinners. Between trips, calls, and endless lists, the novel shows with humor and irony the vertigo of wanting to do it all.
First installment of the Kate Reddy series. Translation by Isabel Merino; original title: I Don't Know How She Does It.
For readers of contemporary fiction with humor about work-life balance; common in reading clubs.
