Agent Mina Dabiri and her colleagues in the Stockholm Police Homicide Department face a very difficult case: a child has disappeared from a playground, similar to a previous investigation with a tragic ending. The clues, full of numerical codes and coded messages, seem to follow the rules of a perverse game. Two years after the events that brought their lives together, Mina turns to mentalist Vincent Walder to reach the end of an investigation that will personally affect her. Who knows her so well? Who is hiding in the shadows and why? As Mina tries to preserve the memories of the past and Vincent struggles to ignore the shadow in his soul, the shield they have both built begins to crumble.
