«La función delta» is the novel by Rosa Montero, published by Editorial Debate in paperback (369 pages, in Spanish).
La función delta gives its name to a mysterious law of compensation inspired by quantum physics: it would allow moving from one heartbreak to another without those eclipses ruining the relationship. In literary terms, the novel is a parable of life contemplated from death and a reflection on love and inner ghosts.
Published in 1981, it was Rosa Montero's second novel and belongs to the Literatura collection.
For readers of twentieth-century Spanish literature and novels that invite reflection on existence and the passage of time.
