Synopsis of Vote au-dessus d'un nid de cocos

«Vote au-dessus d'un nid de cocos» is a political essay by Jacques Séguéla, published by Flammarion in 1992 in paperback (275 pages, in French).

Jacques Séguéla recounts his travels through Eastern Europe in the years after 1989, when the democratic ideal was gaining ground in the region. With irony and closeness, he portrays leaders such as Lech Walesa, Boris Yeltsin and Václav Havel and the small anecdotes of electoral campaigns that changed the continent's political map.
