«Violeta y las gafas mágicas» is the children's comic by Émilie Clarke, published by Astiberri in hardback (128 pages, in Spanish).
Violeta discovers she needs glasses and fears Lisa will make fun of her. A strange optician offers her magic glasses capable of seeing beyond appearances, just as a ghost haunts the school and the class rabbit disappears. With humour and fantasy, the story portrays life in primary school: classmates, first crushes and the need to fit in.
The work is part of Astiberri's Txikiberri collection and won the BD Boum Children's Comic Award (Blois Festival) in 2021.
For readers aged 7 and up who enjoy mystery and humour comics set at school.
