«Un pelotón de mentiras» is a young adult novel by Pilar Mateos, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback, in Spanish.
Pelotón has an unusual ability: while other children stand out for their talent at painting, sport or music, he excels at inventing lies. His antics give rise to a story about imagination, honesty and the consequences of what one says.
Illustrated by María Balaguer. Published in 2000 in the collection Los Libros del Capitán, 18.
Aimed at children and young adults, especially readers who enjoy stories about imagination and honesty.
Pilar Mateos Martín is a Spanish writer of children's literature.
