«Tu rostro mañana. 2 Baile y sueño» is the second novel in Javier Marías's series of the same name, published by Alfaguara in 2004 in paperback (416 pages, in Spanish).
Jaime Deza, a Spaniard with the strange ability to anticipate others' actions, works for a group linked to British MI6. This second instalment continues his story with intrigues and reflections on betrayal, violence and what we do «without wanting to», in the vein of the author's enveloping prose.
Second and penultimate instalment of the trilogy «Tu rostro mañana», which begins with «Fiebre y lanza» and continues with «Veneno y sombra y adiós».
For readers of literary fiction and espionage who want to delve into Javier Marías's crowning work.
