«Mañana en la batalla piensa en mí» is the novel by Javier Marías, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (360 pages, in Spanish).
A man goes to dinner at the home of a woman he barely knows; what seemed like an intimate evening is cut short by an unforeseen event. The story starts from that episode to explore memory, desire and the fragility of life, in a novel with an atmosphere of suspense and reflection.
