«Nueve semanas y media» is the erotic novel by Elizabeth McNeill, published by Orbis in 1987 in hardback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Two cultured, civilized, and independent people meet by chance on a New York street in the early 1970s and begin a relationship that soon turns into a sadomasochistic experience of unusual intensity. The couple establishes a ritual of domination and humiliation that both accept, first with surprise and then with relish, until the games become increasingly elaborate and sophisticated.
Part of the «Biblioteca Grandes Éxitos. Novelas de Cine» collection as number 8.
