«Nós as Mulheres 2» is the humour comic by Maitena, published by Editorial Presença in paperback (80 pages, in Portuguese).
The book brings together humorous cartoons about women's everyday life: the body, calls that never come, mothers-in-law, children, bills and misunderstandings with men, with their burden of anguish and guilt. With irony, Maitena portrays recognisable situations and includes a test to measure the degree of disturbance.
It is part of the «Mujeres Alteradas» series, of which it is the second volume, originally published as «Mujeres alteradas 2».
A read for those seeking graphic humour about the female day-to-day and its contradictions, with a direct and recognisable style.
Maitena Burundarena, better known as Maitena, is an Argentine cartoonist.
