«Vite smagliate» (Donne a fior di nervi 2) is the humour comic by Maitena, published by Mondadori in paperback (227 pages, in Italian).
A collection of humorous cartoons about everyday female life: relationships with banal and incomprehensible men, marriage and divorce, disastrous lovers, the tyranny of fashion, sales, waxing, spots, grey hairs and laddered tights. Maitena portrays with irony the paradoxes and small catastrophes of women's lives.
Second volume of the Donne a fior di nervi series, published in 2004. The Italian edition brings together cartoons from the original series Mujeres alteradas 1, 2 and 3; translated into Italian by Daniel Diamant.
For readers of graphic humour and for those seeking an ironic look at the small everyday catastrophes of female life.
Maitena Burundarena, better known as Maitena, is an Argentine cartoonist.
