«Moby Dick, Volumen 2» is Herman Melville's maritime adventure novel, published by Bibliotex in hardback (278 pages, in Spanish).
Ishmael signs on to the whaler Pequod, whose captain, Ahab, is driven by an obsession: the hunt for the legendary white whale, Moby Dick. The voyage becomes a pursuit combining maritime adventure, epic, and the romantic and gothic tradition of the nineteenth-century novel.
Second volume of the novel, published as issue 74 of the collection 'Las 100 joyas del milenio'.

Herman Melville was an American writer of the American Renaissance period. Among his best-known works are Moby-Dick (1851), Typee (1846), a romanticized account of his experiences in Polynesia, and Billy Budd, Sailor, a posthumously published novella. At the time of his death, Melville was not well known to the public, but 1919, the centennial of his birth, was the starting point of a Melville revival. Moby-Dick would eventually be considered one of the Great American Novels.
