«Maiteminduak» is the illustrated hardback album in Basque by the Brothers Grimm and Álvaro Matxinbarrena, published by Erein Argitaletxea (28 pages).
The story is brief and the illustrations carry more weight than the text: the tale's appeal lies in elegant, striking images designed to hold the attention of those beginning to read, alone or with the help of an adult.
Fourth title in the Albumak collection, aimed at readers aged 7 to 9. First edition published on 27 August 2001.
An album designed for adults to accompany children aged 7 to 9 in their first readings in Basque.
