«Los días terrenales» is the novel by José Revueltas, published by Ediciones Era in paperback (232 pages, in Spanish).
The novel addresses communist militancy and the revolutionary's consciousness, a subject very few authors had discussed without passion. Starting from historical figures, Revueltas creates literary characters such as General Secretary Fidel and other militants with greatnesses and miseries. The left condemned the work and its author withdrew it from circulation.
