Dive into a fascinating science fiction novel where historian Kivrin, from the University of Oxford in 2054, travels to England in 1320. However, a crisis intertwines the past and present, trapping her in a deadly era while an epidemic spreads in the 21st century, making her rescue impossible. In this masterpiece, winner of the Hugo, Locus, and Nebula awards, Connie Willis explores disease, suffering, and the resilience of the human spirit. Both 'The Doomsday Book' and 'To Say Nothing of the Dog' can be read independently.
