Born in Madrid on 1 April 1968.
Began his career as a screenwriter and film director, with films such as 'El penalti más largo del mundo' (2005).
His first major children's book was 'El ladrón de mentiras' (2002), winner of the Edebé Prize.
The Los Futbolísimos series launched in 2013 and now spans more than 30 titles with several million copies sold.
He also writes the time-travel series Los Forasteros del Tiempo.
