In the winter of 1943, a young Jewish woman named Amira seeks refuge in the Canfranc railway station to escape the Nazis. There she meets Emeterio Gascón, a member of the resistance who offers her help and a plan to get her out of the country. However, a Nazi officer suspects that Emeterio is hiding something and a persecution begins. As the plot progresses, a complex network of secrets and relationships that extend from the time of the Second World War to the present day is unraveled. Simultaneously, in the present day, a new virtual reality program allows the characters to enter the past and live historical experiences with all the senses. The program is so advanced that it manages to transmit even smells and flavors related to the images that appear through the glasses, which leads the characters to limit situations while murders occur and secrets come to light. The game of death delves fully into the purest sense of survival, memory and identity, and transports us to a time of war in which misery and daily hardships were a constant in everyday life.
