«El gegant del Pi» is a children's story by an anonymous author adapted by M. Eulàlia Valeri, illustrated by Joma, published by La Galera in hardback (24 pages).
The story begins a very long time ago, when a farmer of extraordinary height and strength lives in the farmhouse El Farell, on the outskirts of Barcelona; because of that strength, everyone calls him «el gegant».
The work is part of the Popular collection, where it is number 2, and is written entirely in Catalan.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 8, especially for those starting to read, due to its short text and illustrations.
