«La rateta que escombrava l'escaleta» is a children's story illustrated by Joma, published by La Galera in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).
A little mouse sweeping the stairs finds a coin and wonders what she could do with it. From that discovery, the folk tale develops a children's story starring the small animal, with illustrations accompanying the narrative.
Published in 1993, it is the first edition of La Galera's Popular collection, corresponding to number 10.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 8, especially for those beginning to read in Catalan.
