«Cinco ovejitas» is the children's story by Ana Guerrero and Andrés Guerrero, published by EDICIONES SM in hardback (34 pages, in Spanish).
The little wolf can't get to sleep and his mother suggests counting sheep, but the remedy doesn't work: the sheep jump over and over and end up exhausted. The little wolf only knows how to count to five, which turns each attempt into a funny, repetitive scene.
Published in 2008, it belongs to the El Barco de Vapor collection, Los Piratas series (no. 86), and was awarded the CCEI Illustration Prize in 2009.
For children aged 6 to 7 who are starting to read, with short sentences and capital letters.
