«Camí de sirga» is the literary novel by Jesús Moncada, published by Edicions 62 in hardback (288 pages, in Catalan).
The novel evokes Mequinensa, the old riverside town on the Ebro that was submerged under the Riba-Roja reservoir. Through the experiences of boatmen, music-hall singers, café owners, miners and bourgeois, Moncada reconstructs the last hundred years of a community marked by mining and river traffic, doomed to disappear.
