Penny Jordan was born in Preston, England, in 1946 and became a highly prolific British novelist.
Her love for reading began in childhood, spending hours in the local library while her mother ran errands.
Long before becoming a published author, she was a natural storyteller who created serialised tales for her younger sister.
At the age of eleven, she discovered Mills & Boon novels, which deeply inspired her future career in romance.
Throughout her career, she wrote over 500 works, including the notable title Master of Pleasure.
