Constance Christina Aimee Heaven was a British writer of romance novels, under her maiden name, her married name and under the pseudonym Christina Merlin. In 1973, her novel The House Of Kuragin was the Winner of the Romantic Novel of the Year.

Constance Heaven was born in London in 1911 and enjoyed a prolific literary career with 61 published works.

Before establishing herself as a novelist, she dedicated much of her life to the stage, working as an actress from 1939 to 1966.

Her literary versatility led her to write under different names, including her maiden name Constance Fecher and the pseudonym Christina Merlin.

Her most notable work, The House of Kuragin, won the prestigious Romantic Novel of the Year Award in 1973.

She possessed a diverse academic background, holding degrees in English from King's College and music from the London College of Music.
