Biography

Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac was a French novelist, playwright, epistolarian, and duelist.

Cyrano de Bergerac was a multifaceted French writer, poet, and philosopher of the 17th century.

He is recognized as one of the pioneers of science fiction thanks to his work L'autre monde.

Although popular fiction attributes an oversized nose to him, historical portraits suggest it was large but not as exaggerated as depicted.

His life as a playwright and duelist has inspired numerous literary works that have woven legends around his figure.

Throughout his career, he produced a total of 124 works exploring various historical and philosophical themes.
