Jill Barnett is a New York Times best-selling American author of women's fiction and romance novels.

Jill Barnett was born and raised in the idyllic Southern California, an environment that inspired her creative vision.

During her childhood, she spent many summers on her grandparents' farm in Texas, surrounded by a family with Southern roots.

Her father used to tease her, saying she was the only prune picker in a family of cotton pickers.

Although she planned to pursue a career in university teaching, the birth of her daughter completely changed her life's path.

With a prolific career spanning 68 works, she has established herself as a prominent author of romance novels.
