«Velocidad de los jardines» is the short story collection by Eloy Tizón, published in 1992 by Editorial Anagrama in hardback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Stories where ordinary characters move between banality and wonder, with memory and identity as the guiding thread. Tizón's prose, restrained and evocative, portrays everyday life with melancholy and intelligence, turning each story into a reflection on the passage of time and the search for meaning.
The work corresponds to number 132 of the Narrativas hispánicas collection.
For readers of contemporary short fiction: El País included it among the hundred outstanding Spanish books of the last twenty-five years.
