«Un lloro de pel·lícula» is the short children's story by Joaquim Carbó Masllorens, published by Tandem Edicions, S.L. in paperback (63 pages, in Catalan).
A very peculiar parrot stars in this short story, which pays homage to cinema and moves at a breakneck pace. The work combines humour and action, with nods to the world of filmmaking: spotlights, cameras and sets. The studio atmosphere and visual tone are an essential part of the adventure.
This number 13 of the collection «La bicicleta negra», illustrated by Paco Giménez, was published in 1996.
Recommended for young readers aged 12 and up, especially those who enjoy cinema and humorous stories.
