Synopsis of Tres sombreros de copa
Tres sombreros de copa es una obra teatral del escritor español Miguel Mihura, considerada una de las piezas más importantes del teatro del absurdo en español. Escrita en 1932, no fue estrenada hasta 1952. La obra narra la historia de Dionisio, un hombre que, la noche antes de su boda, se encuentra con una compañía de circo y descubre una nueva forma de ver la vida a través de una bailarina llamada Paula. La trama original, el humor sorprendente y el ingenio verbal hacen de esta obra una pieza clave del teatro español del siglo XX.

Miguel Mihura Santos was a Spanish playwright. He is best known for his comedy Tres sombreros de copa (1952), a work of absurd humor that predates similar works by Beckett or Ionesco and that broke with many of the previous conventions of Spanish comic theatre. He was also active as a comics artist.
