«The Boy Who Kicked Pigs» is Tom Baker's black-humour and horror-fantasy novel, published by Faber & Faber in paperback (128 pages, in English).
Robert Caligari is a thirteen-year-old boy with a singular hobby: kicking pigs. After a humiliation involving a bacon sandwich, he decides the human race is detestable and plans a terrible revenge. The story, grotesque in tone, combines fantasy, horror and black humour.
The work originally appeared in hardback in 1999; this paperback edition is from 2005. It includes black-and-white drawings by David Roberts.
A work for those who appreciate grotesque satire and black humour, and for fans of Tom Baker for his role as Doctor Who.
