«Sirenas, vikingos, ballenas... y una escalera» is a children's novel by Carmela Trujillo, published by Algar in paperback (112 pages, in Spanish).
Rubén lives on the outskirts of a big city and enjoys playing in the wastelands, an almost magical place where his imagination conjures up mermaids, Vikings, whales and dinosaurs. There, he and his friends can be whoever they want, but the arrival of a bullying classmate and the construction of apartment blocks threaten that refuge.
It is number 173 in Algar's Calcetín collection, with illustrations by Pam López. Published in 2021 in Spanish, it is recommended for readers aged 8 to 10.
Aimed at boys and girls aged 8 to 10, especially those who enjoy stories about play, imagination and friendship.
