«Robot mais pas trop» is the children's science fiction novel by Éric Simard, published by Syros in paperback (48 pages, in French).
Adam lives in an ultratechnological house where everyday tasks depend on robots and automations: his bed turns into a slide and the toilet only flushes if you sing a song. But some appliances are broken, so when the school principal comes for tea, the malfunctions turn the visit into comic chaos.
Published in 2010; part of the Soon collection from Mini Syros.
Aimed at a children's and young adult audience beginning to explore science fiction, with humor and absurd situations in a domestic setting.
