«Ricard, l'escultor» is the children's story by Gianni Rodari, published by Edicions Bromera in paperback (64 pages, in Valencian).
Ricard sculpts figures from marble, wood and clay: goats, firefighters, horses and people. As soon as he finishes them, his statues come to life and go off to see the world; from time to time they return to tell him what they have seen.
Volume 141 of the El Micalet Galàctic collection, white series for early readers. Text translated from Italian by Enric Salom and illustrations by Montse Tobella.
For early readers aged 4 to 8, with a short and fantastical story featuring a sculptor and his creations.

Giovanni Francesco "Gianni" Rodari was an Italian writer and journalist, most famous for his works of children's literature, notably Il romanzo di Cipollino. For his lasting contribution as a children's author, he received the biennial Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1970. He is considered Italy's most important 20th-century children's author, and his books have been translated into many languages, though few have been published in English.
