«Ramón (Un perro singular)» is the children's story by María Asunción Mateo, published by Ediciones de la Torre in paperback (108 pages, in Spanish).
Rita, a ten-year-old girl, adores Ramón, a white, smiling poodle with a scruffy look and a good nature: he is friends with cats, plays chess, and falls in love easily. When Ramón runs away from home, a fun adventure begins with a happy ending, in which the little ones learn to love and respect animals.
It belongs to the Alba y Mayo Bicolor collection (no. 10) and is illustrated by Jesús Aroca. First edition published in 2010.
Aimed at children and young audiences, especially those who enjoy animal stories and humour.
