«¿Quién quieres ser?» is the children's novel by Carlo Frabetti, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
Eva is twelve years old and insatiably curious; when she meets Ray, an eccentric and wise inventor, she confronts a world where nothing is as it seems. The story combines friendship, science and philosophy, and suggests that answers are not always what matters: when you think you have them, the questions change.
It is number 260 in the El Barco de Vapor Naranja collection and includes illustrations by Joan Casaramona Gual. It won the El Barco de Vapor Prize in 2020.
Aimed at child and young readers aged 8 to 14, especially those who enjoy stories that invite reflection.
