In 'Puntos de vista de una mujer', Carmen Laforet offers an intimate and courageous look at the daily lives of women in the 1950s. Through a selection of articles published in Destino magazine between 1948 and 1953, Laforet portrays the concerns, desires, and struggles of a generation that sought to be heard beyond the walls of their home. This edition, with a prologue by Inés Martín Rodrigo and edited by Ana Cabello and Blanca Ripoll, is a tribute to the centenary of the author's birth and an invitation to rediscover her journalistic and literary legacy.

Carmen Laforet was a Spanish author who wrote in the period after the Spanish Civil War. An important European writer, her works contributed to the school of Existentialist Literature and her first novel Nada continued the Spanish tremendismo literary style begun by Camilo José Cela with his novel, La familia de Pascual Duarte. She received the Premio Nadal in 1944.
