Dive into 'Oysters for Dimitri', an absorbing and profound novel by Juan Bas, imbued with the author's characteristic acid and black humor. Pacho Murga, a decadent Bilbao gentleman, serves his sentence in the Salto del Negro prison, where he meets Dimitri Urroz, an enigmatic character who drags him into an adventure with surreal touches between Navarra and Moscow. The novel explores themes of guilt and betrayal, gradually revealing itself to a shocking outcome. A bold mix of black novel, picaresque grotesque and comic tragedy that marks the maturity of both the character and the author.
