«Nie wieder achtzig!» is Dieter Hildebrandt's satirical autobiography, published by Karl Blessing Verlag in hardback (240 pages, in German).
Dieter Hildebrandt turns eighty and insists old age leaves him cold; he prefers to look ahead. Even so, he reviews his long career as a cabaret artist and satirist, his work, successes, friends and adversaries, and connects politics with sport and the personal with the collective, between combative criticism and humour.
This hardback edition includes illustrations by Dieter Hanitzsch and was published in Munich in 2007.
It is a book suitable as an eightieth birthday gift and for readers who enjoy satire and critical humour.
Dieter Hildebrandt was a German Kabarett artist.
