«Mozart de camino a Praga» is the historical novel by Eduard Mörike, published by Galaxia Gutenberg in hardback (144 pages, in Spanish).
In autumn 1787, Mozart travels with his wife Constanze to Prague for the premiere of Don Giovanni. A stop at Count Schinzberg's castle ends in a misunderstanding that is resolved when he is recognised, and he is invited to the engagement of Eugenie, the count's niece. His memories and musical reflections contrast with Eugenie's certainty that the genius burns out quickly.
This Spanish translation, signed by Rosa Sala Rose, was published in 2006 in the Narrativa collection of Galaxia Gutenberg / Círculo de Lectores. The novel was originally published in 1855 under the title «Mozart auf der Reise nach Prag».
For readers of classic German literature and for those who want to approach the figure of Mozart through fiction.
