«Mònica, Tonet i l'home que fabricava flautes de canya» is the children's novel by Enric Lluch, published by Bromera in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).

Mònica and Tonet meet Modu, a Senegalese man living in an abandoned mill, and decide to help him. They discover the harsh reality of undocumented immigrants when the police force them to leave. Modu gives them a reed flute and a precious stone with powers. A story about friendship, immigration and solidarity in the rural world.

Part of the El Micalet Galàctic collection (Red Series, number 203) and winner of the Vicent Silvestre Children's Narrative Prize 2015. With illustrations by Mikko.
